- Vanzant returns to OWN with new specials after her show ended.
Iyanla Vanzant has reignited her long-standing feud with singer Tamar Braxton, accusing the artist of fabricating details about their contentious 2018 encounter. Vanzant stated on The Jason Lee Show that Braxton is "imbalanced" and "out of touch," and warned that the singer would ultimately have to answer to God for her alleged lies. The original disagreement unfolded during an intervention on WE tv's "Braxton Family Values," where Braxton later claimed Vanzant mishandled discussions about her childhood sexual abuse.
Vanzant, however, disputes Braxton's account, asserting it is "absolutely not true" that she sexually shamed Braxton. She emphasized that she was invited onto the Braxton's show, not the other way around. This resurfacing conflict comes as Vanzant embarks on a new television chapter. Her original OWN series, "Iyanla: Fix My Life," concluded in 2021 after nine years. Its success paved the way for "Iyanla: The Inside Fix," leading to two additional specials that premiered on OWN in October 2026.
