The vibrant Itkhori Mahotsava is set to captivate audiences from February 19 to February 21 at the Bhadrakali temple complex in Chatra district.
This state-recognized festival, with an annual budget of nearly Rs 1 crore, promises a rich tapestry of cultural experiences. Daily performances will include folk, classical, and contemporary acts by artists from across India, highlighted by a spectacular drone show.
New attractions this year include fashion shows, rock climbing, and film screenings. Visitors can also enjoy water adventure sports at Baksa Dam and paragliding at Lakshmanpur Bhedi Farm Dam, with a grand Ganga aarti concluding the festivities on February 21.
Originally a private initiative started in 2015, the Itkhori Mahotsava has grown into a significant religious and cultural event, drawing attendees from around the world.
