Rae, who penned the pilot, is collaborating with "Insecure" alum Prentice Penny. Penny is slated to direct the pilot episode and will also serve as showrunner and executive producer. This endeavor represents Rae's fourth project with HBO, following successful shows like "Insecure," "A Black Lady Sketch Show," and "Rap Sh!t."
