Iron Maiden & Lagunitas Brew Up West Coast IPA

Iron Maiden is set to embark on their Run For Your Lives World Tour across North America this fall, commemorating five decades of music by performing songs from their initial nine studio albums. This tour introduces Eddie's Dive Bars to the U.S., offering free fan meetups at local venues before each concert, a popular concept previously exclusive to international shows.

The band has partnered with California's Lagunitas brewery to create Trooper West Coast IPA. This limited-edition beer, boasting a 6.6% ABV, is crafted with new Krush hops known for their spicy, tropical, and subtly cannabis-like flavor profile. Bruce Dickinson, Iron Maiden's frontman, was actively involved in the beer's development, working closely with Lagunitas' 'Brewmonster' Jeremy Marshall to refine the recipe.

Lagunitas has embraced the collaboration with Iron Maiden, recognizing the band's iconic global status. The brewery sees this partnership as a significant opportunity to reach new audiences, with Trooper West Coast IPA potentially being some fans' first experience with Lagunitas beer. The partnership extends to co-branded merchandise, and Lagunitas even hosted a 'beer roadie' contest to manage their presence at select tour stops.
