The martial arts franchise continues with "Ip Man: Kung Fu Legacy," starring Dennis To as the renowned Wing Chun master. All Rights Entertainment has initiated presales for the film at the Cannes Film Market. Filming is set to commence in October, with the movie expected to reach international audiences in 2027.
Dennis To reprises his role as Ip Man, the famed mentor of Bruce Lee, in this new chapter of the widely recognized saga. This forthcoming film follows "Ip Man: Kung Fu Legend," which is slated for a North American release on July 14, distributed by Well Go USA. The original "Ip Man" series, featuring Donnie Yen, has achieved significant global acclaim, and To's spin-off films have carved out their own distinct identity within the universe, portraying a younger Ip Man.
All Rights Entertainment, with offices in Paris, Hong Kong, and Los Angeles, is handling worldwide sales for the new feature. The company previously managed distribution for earlier installments in the franchise. "The franchise continues to resonate globally, and we are excited to launch this new chapter in Cannes," stated Aymeric Contat Desfontaines, CEO of All Rights Entertainment.
