INI's latest track, "Present," has captured the number one spot on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 for the chart week of November 26. This victory interrupts Kenshi Yonezu's impressive nine-week consecutive streak at the summit, marking a significant shift in the Japanese music landscape.
"Present" is the lead single from INI's new release, THE WINTER MAGIC, which achieved over 1.2 million copies sold, becoming their first million-selling CD. While leading sales, the song also charted strongly in radio airplay, streaming, and video views. This marks INI's fifth number one hit on the Billboard Japan Hot 100.
Meanwhile, Kenshi Yonezu's "IRIS OUT" moves to number two, despite remaining dominant in streaming and video metrics for ten weeks. The RADWIMPS tribute album Dear Jubilee also saw significant success, with multiple tracks entering the top 10, and original RADWIMPS songs are experiencing a resurgence on streaming platforms.
