TikTok Star Drugged, Kidnapped at Party

Four years ago, popular food influencer Meredith Hayden was allegedly drugged and then kidnapped at a Hollywood premiere party. Hayden, who commands over two million followers on TikTok, shared this revelation in a video response on Tuesday. She explained that being drugged, or 'roofied,' caused her to feel unwell, leading someone to abduct her for several hours.

Hayden, 30, revealed that she chose not to speak about the incident publicly for years. She feared being labeled the "roofie kidnap girl" as her social media career was beginning. The influencer also stated that she did not report the crime to the police. This decision was partly due to the party's invitation explicitly stating that cameras would be off to encourage revelry, suggesting a lack of evidence.

This past trauma continues to affect Hayden, contributing to diagnosed PTSD, anxiety, and agoraphobia. She recently discussed these struggles in relation to her upcoming 30th birthday trip to Tokyo. Despite staying in luxurious accommodations, she admitted to experiencing significant anxiety about traveling to crowded, foreign spaces, a fear exacerbated by the alleged 2022 incident.
