The under-construction 188-ft Hanuman idol at Nagpur's Koradi temple is poised to be India's tallest, transforming the site into a modern religious-tourism hub. This ₹11.50 crore project, supported by a ₹5 crore Regional Tourism Development Fund, will feature a holographic dome theatre and an immersive museum.
The proposed museum will utilize projection mapping and interactive LED installations for mythological storytelling. Additionally, upcoming phases will introduce recreational facilities like an amusement park, a children's adventure zone, and VR gaming areas. The project's completion is now slated for May 30, 2026.
The Nagpur Metropolitan Region Development Authority (NMRDA) is overseeing the development and is seeking private developers for the museum and associated attractions. Union home minister Amit Shah may inaugurate the statue in the coming months.
