Sumerian Pictures has acquired "The Incomer," a comedy that recently premiered at Sundance, marking the company's second acquisition from the festival. The film stars Domhnall Gleeson and Gayle Rankin.
Directed by Louis Paxton in his feature debut, "The Incomer" is set on a remote Scottish island. The narrative centers on two siblings who must survive by hunting seabirds and protecting their home from unwelcome arrivals, a way of life disrupted by a government-appointed council worker.
