The original stars of the cult Brit teen comedy "The Inbetweeners" are officially back for a new Netflix movie, which has now entered production. The film, titled "Inbetweeners 3," will see Simon Bird, James Buckley, Blake Harrison, and Joe Thomas reprise their well-known roles.
The creators of the original series, Damon Beesley and Iain Morris, are returning to write and direct the upcoming feature. "The Inbetweeners" originally aired in the U.K. from 2008 to 2010, chronicling the misadventures of four suburban teenagers navigating school, friendships, and awkward encounters.
This new film follows the immense success of two previous spin-off movies released in 2011 and 2014, both of which broke U.K. comedy box office records. The production deal for this return was revealed less than a year ago, paving the way for the comeback of the hit comedy title.
