Actor Imran Khan has shared candid reflections on his separation from ex-wife Avantika Malik, attributing the dissolution of their marriage to unhealthy interpersonal dynamics that originated early in their relationship.

Speaking in a recent interview, Khan detailed how their relationship, which began in his late teens, was characterized by a cycle that neither he nor Malik could break. He stated that his personal decision to end the marriage became a significant turning point for his mental health, enabling him to heal.

Khan emphasized the importance of exiting unhealthy relationship patterns, suggesting that continuing such dynamics is detrimental. He noted that being "not in sync" prevented them from supporting each other's best versions, making separation a necessary step for individual well-being.

Since his separation, the 43-year-old actor has reportedly moved on and is publicly known to be dating actress Lekha Washington, a relationship confirmed in 2024. Khan's last known film appearance was in "Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos."
