Horror Film 'Immortal' Blends Romance and Supernatural Dread

The upcoming Tamil horror thriller, 'Immortal,' is poised for its theatrical debut on September 4, 2026. Directed by Mariyappan Chinna, the film stars G V Prakash Kumar and Kayadu Lohar. The recently unveiled trailer offers a glimpse into a narrative that skillfully merges romantic elements with a chilling supernatural mystery.

The story centers on Mahi, portrayed by G V Prakash Kumar, who moves into a shared flat with Sindhu, played by Kayadu Lohar. As Mahi finds himself drawn to Sindhu, developing romantic feelings, unsettling events begin to unfold within the apartment. These strange occurrences hint at a darker secret concealed within their living space, raising questions about Sindhu's involvement.

Adding to the intrigue, the trailer opens with a scene depicting a tribal couple in a foreign locale, suggesting a broader narrative scope beyond Mahi's immediate story. Filming for 'Immortal' concluded in May, and the movie has secured a clean U certificate from the Censor Board. The ensemble cast includes TM Karthik, Kumar Natarajan, and others, with cinematography by Arun Radhakrishnan and music by Sam CS.
