Horror Thriller 'Immortal' Unleashes Terror July 23

The highly anticipated horror thriller 'Immortal' is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on July 23, as announced by the filmmakers. Directed by Mariyappan Chinna and featuring G V Prakash and Kayadu Lohar in the lead roles, the film's release was confirmed by G V Prakash on his X timeline. Shooting for 'Immortal' had recently concluded in May of this year.

Previously, the makers considered a May release but have now opted for the July 23 date. The film has generated significant buzz since the release of its chilling teaser last year. The teaser introduces G V Prakash's character as a romantic with dreams of living with a beautiful girl.

However, the narrative takes a terrifying turn when the romantic interactions between G V Prakash and Kayadu Lohar's characters in a flat give way to horror. The teaser culminates with G V Prakash discovering a monstrous, bat-faced creature, signaling the film's shift into the supernatural horror genre.

In addition to the lead actors, 'Immortal' boasts a supporting cast including TM Karthik, Kumar Natarajan, and others. The technical team includes Arunkumar Dhanasekaran as producer, Arun Radhakrishnan for cinematography, and Sam CS for music.
