Imax Shatters Records: $410M Revenue in 2025

In 2025, Imax experienced a transformational year, achieving a company record of $410 million in revenue. The final quarter alone generated $125.8 million, driven by $336 million in box office grosses, marking a 35% year-over-year increase.

This success was significantly fueled by a strategic expansion of local language films in premium auditoriums. Hits like "Ne Zha 2" and "Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle" propelled Imax to a record $405 million in box office from non-Hollywood films.

The company also installed 160 new auditoriums globally in 2025, meeting its projections. Looking ahead, Imax anticipates a record $1.4 billion in global box office for 2026, with new installations planned.

Upcoming releases on Imax screens include "Scream VI" and "The Bride!", followed by highly anticipated films like "Avengers: Doomsday" and "Dune: Part Three."
