The International Film Festival Delhi (IFFD) is scheduled from March 25 to March 31, 2026, having received an impressive 2,187 entries from 100 countries. This event endeavors to position Delhi as a significant cultural and cinematic center.
Screenings will primarily take place at Bharat Mandapam, with additional showings in multiplexes and other city locations. Open-air screenings are also planned to enhance public access to films.
The festival's curated mix will include approximately 30% international films, 40% Hindi cinema, and 30% regional Indian films. It will also feature special sections for patriotic, spiritual, and children's cinema, with all screenings offered free of charge upon advance online registration.
IFFD will host gala screenings, red-carpet events with film personalities, and an awards ceremony. Industry platforms like masterclasses, workshops, celebrity talks, script labs, and a Film Bazaar will offer co-production and distribution opportunities.
