The International Cinematographers Guild has announced that its 64th annual ICG Publicists Awards luncheon will be held on March 12, 2027. This celebratory event is scheduled for the Friday before the Academy Awards and will take place at the renowned Beverly Wilshire hotel in Beverly Hills. Preparations are underway, with nomination announcements slated for early 2027. Television nominations will be revealed on December 3, 2026, followed by motion picture nominations on January 13, 2027. Special award recipients will be announced at a later date.
The upcoming awards ceremony aims to honor the work of Local 600 publicists, unit still photographers, and outstanding publicity campaigns from 2025. Additionally, the best entertainment journalists of the year will be recognized. The history of entertainment publicists' unionization dates back to 1937, culminating in the merger of the Publicists Guild with the International Cinematographers Guild, IATSE Local 600, in 2002. This event underscores the guild's commitment to celebrating excellence within the film and television publicity industry.
