26 Sep, 2025
Summary
- Ice Spice releases new single "Baddie Baddie"
- Track samples M.I.A.'s 2012 hit "Bad Girls"
- Ice Spice has been busy with collaborations and film debut

In the past few months, rising rapper Ice Spice has been keeping busy. On September 26, 2025, the artist released a new single titled "Baddie Baddie," which samples M.I.A.'s 2012 hit "Bad Girls." The rousing track was produced by Ice Spice's longtime collaborator RiotUSA.
"Baddie Baddie" marks Ice Spice's first solo release since she dropped the deluxe edition of her album Y2K!: I'm Just A Girl last December. The album added five new songs to her July 2024 LP, including "Hannah Montana" featuring NLE Choppa and DaBaby.
Beyond her solo work, Ice Spice has also been collaborating with other artists. Earlier this month, she teamed up with Latto on "Gyatt," effectively squashing rumors of a feud between the two rappers. Ice Spice has also made her film debut, starring in Spike Lee's most recent movie, Highest 2 Lowest, alongside Denzel Washington and A$AP Rocky.
In an interview earlier this year, Ice Spice discussed her consistent creative process, noting that she takes breaks between recording sessions to recharge. "I usually get into the studio and pull up some beats that I already know that I kind of vibe with, and I like to just start coming up with the top line," she explained. "And once I come up with the first line, I usually just move on into the hook and I build slowly from there."
