Actor Ian Bohen Finds New 'Family' on Lioness Set

Actor Ian Bohen is now a part of the acclaimed series Lioness, a project he had long wished to join. Creator Taylor Sheridan facilitated his involvement, with Bohen expressing his desire to work on the show since its debut. His previous commitment to Sheridan's Yellowstone series, which filmed concurrently, had prevented an earlier opportunity.

Bohen's transition from Yellowstone to Lioness occurred as the former concluded its production in December 2025. He received a direct invitation to join the Lioness team, which he accepted enthusiastically. Production for the third season of Lioness commenced in October 2025, perfectly timing his availability.

In Lioness, Bohen portrays Grady, a dedicated Delta Force operator and K9 handler skilled in combat tactics. He shared a behind-the-scenes moment in January, hinting at the show's forward momentum into 2026.

Reflecting on his experience, Bohen shared with PEOPLE that he has never felt more welcomed by any cast throughout his career. He described the Lioness ensemble as treating him like "brethren from the get-go," fostering a sense of belonging and making him feel exceptionally at home.
