"If I Tell You" features a distinguished ensemble cast, including Carol Kane, Etienne Kellici, Allison Miller, Bill Heck, Christopher Jackson, and Carmela Zumbado. The cast is further supported by Kennedi Butler, McKenzie Hays, Tiegen Fryberger, and Zelalem Oestreich.
Director Tessa Blake stated her aim was to translate the novel's beauty, suspense, and emotional depth to the screen.
