An exhibition titled "43 Frames" is currently on display at the State Gallery of Art in Madhapur, Hyderabad, celebrating the work of 43 local photographers. This collection, presented by the Hyderabad Centre for Photography, brings together diverse photographic visions, ranging from captivating wildlife shots to intimate portraits and architectural studies.
The exhibition, which opened on Sunday, features images selected from approximately 400 submissions, highlighting the individual ways photographers interpret the world around them. Aquin Mathews, director of HCP, noted that the exhibition celebrates both the photographers' voices and their compelling visual narratives.
Visitors can experience a wide array of subjects, including Sri Devi S's unique shot of an elephant drinking milk and Gokul Krishna Addanki's patiently captured image of a dwarf kingfisher. The exhibition also includes vibrant scenes from Kulasai Dasara and fleeting moments from Hyderabad's streets. Dr. K. Lakshmi, IAS, director of the State Gallery of Art, inaugurated the show, which runs until August 26.
