On October 29, 2025, the latest edition of the Hyderabad Comic Con kicked off at the Hitex Convention Centre, drawing a lively crowd of comic lovers and movie buffs from across the city. The event, which will run until October 31, saw over 100 participants, mostly aged between 18 and 25, with cosplay being the main attraction.
Fans arrived in funky and colorful costumes, impersonating their favorite characters from superhero movies, comics, and anime. The event was spread across three halls, each themed around these popular genres. Attendees could also browse stalls selling merchandise, posters, keychains, caricatures, action figures, and even comics, which generated considerable interest. The event also featured video games and a simulator at the hackathon arena.
The energy was palpable as fans, animated and curious, began arriving from 11 a.m. onwards. They were greeted by enthusiastic volunteers and were soon immersed in the vibrant atmosphere. The cosplayers were the center of attention, posing with their props and clicking photos with the crowd. Marvel-themed costumes were the most popular, followed by characters from Korean comics, Manga, Anime, and popular video games like Fortnite and Valorant.
