This film, written and directed by Geetu Mohandas, is being shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, with plans for dubbed versions in multiple languages. The movie is described as a crime and deception story set in 1980s Goa, focusing on a drug cartel's influence.
"Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups" boasts an impressive technical crew, including Hollywood action director JJ Perry. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on March 19, coinciding with several festivals.
Qureshi's recent work includes "Maharani 4" and "Delhi Crime Season 3," both of which have garnered attention.
