Hulu's Top Shows Dominate as 'High Potential' Rises to #1

As of September 27th, 2025, Hulu's top 15 list is overwhelmingly dominated by TV shows, with only a single movie making the cut. Leading the pack is ABC's 'High Potential', which has risen to the #1 spot on the streaming platform, outperforming even popular titles like 'Alien: Earth' and 'Only Murders in the Building'.

The success of 'High Potential' is particularly noteworthy, as the series follows Morgan Gillory (played by Kaitlin Olson), a former cleaning lady for the LAPD whose near-genius intellect earns her a position as a civilian consultant on the department's most challenging cases. In the second season, Morgan and her family face a new threat from a serial kidnapper known as the Game Maker, while she also continues her search for her long-missing ex-husband.

Elsewhere on Hulu, Ethan Hawke is captivating audiences with his performance in the new FX series 'The Lowdown'. Hawke plays Lee Raybon, a self-appointed citizen journalist who is determined to expose the racist underbelly of Tulsa, Oklahoma, even if it means putting his own life in danger. And in the biopic 'Swiped', Lily James portrays Whitney Wolfe Herd, a key player in the development of two of the most successful dating apps, Tinder and Bumble.
