Hudson & de Armas Ignite Erotic Thriller 'Palm Grove'

Chernin Entertainment is developing 'Palm Grove,' an original erotic thriller set to star Kate Hudson and Ana de Armas. The project, written by James Morosini, is slated for a theatrical release and is being directed by Kornél Mundruczó. The narrative unfolds in Miami's most affluent district, centering on a seemingly perfect wife who uncovers her husband's clandestine affairs. This revelation triggers a thrilling power dynamic, transforming betrayal into a dangerous game.

Morosini will also serve as an executive producer, with Peter Chernin, David Ready, and Brady Fujikawa producing for Chernin Entertainment. This venture marks a significant move for Chernin Entertainment, building on recent successes such as the rom-com 'One Month Mark' and high-grossing films like 'Backrooms.'

Hudson's involvement follows her acclaimed Oscar-nominated performance in 'Song Sung Blue' and her role in the popular Netflix series 'Running Point.' De Armas, recognized for her roles in 'Blonde' and 'No Time to Die,' is also currently working on an Apple TV+ limited series. Mundruczó, an award-winning filmmaker, brings his acclaimed vision to the project, known for films like 'White God' and 'Pieces of a Woman.'
