Hubballi Celebrates Karnataka Rajyotsava with Vibrant Procession

On November 1st, 2025, the city of Hubballi celebrated Karnataka Rajyotsava, the anniversary of the state's formation, with great enthusiasm. The Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) organized a colorful procession to mark the occasion.
The procession, which started from Siddharoodh Mutt and culminated at Indira Glass House, featured still images of various works of art along with a portrait of Goddess Bhuvaneshwari. Dignitaries, including MLA Mahesh Tenginakai, flagged off the event. The procession included eye-catching displays such as the stone chariot of Hampi and the stone fort of Chitradurga, provided by the North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC).
Various art groups and students participated in the celebrations, with some dressing up as historical figures like Kittur Rani Channamma and Onake Obavva. The Adarsh Pre-Graduate Science College also celebrated Rajyotsava, with the general secretary hoisting the flag and paying tribute to Goddess Bhuvaneshwari. The grand procession of 'Karunada Chetana 2025' Rajyotsava, organized by the Dyavappanavar-Valasanga Educational and Academic Trust, was also held with great enthusiasm.
