Hyoyeon's New Unit Debuts with "Lowkey In Love"
1 Sep
Summary
- HRS, a new music unit, has released its debut single.
- The unit originated from Hyoyeon's YouTube series.
- The group previously performed a cover in 2015-2016.

The new music unit HRS has officially launched their debut single, which also features the B-side track "Lowkey In Love." Both songs were first presented to the public at the 2026 CassCool Festival earlier this month, ahead of their official release.
The concept for HRS originated from Hyoyeon's personal YouTube series, titled "Fake Kim Hyoyeon." Within this series, the three members competed for key positions such as main vocalist, main dancer, and center. Hyoyeon formally proposed the subunit idea in a video uploaded to her channel in September 2025.
Before their official debut as HRS, the unit performed under the name "S.H.Y." During Girls' Generation's Phantasia Tour, which ran from 2015 to 2016, they delivered a notable cover of Salt-N-Pepa's "Push It."
