He also opted out of Karan Johar's 'Shuddhi' for the same reason, highlighting the significant time commitment required for these grand productions.
While 'Mohenjo Daro' did not meet expectations and 'Bajirao Mastani' became a cinematic landmark, Roshan's decision meant passing on a chance to work with Bhansali again. The actor's wish to collaborate with the director on a future project, following their successful 'Guzaarish,' has yet to be realized.
