11 Oct
Summary
- Hrithik Roshan's breakthrough with 'Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai' in 2000
- Anup Soni's experience of shooting 'Fiza' before and after Hrithik's stardom
- Dramatic changes in production quality and amenities for Hrithik

In 2000, Hrithik Roshan burst onto the Bollywood scene with his blockbuster debut 'Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai'. Prior to his meteoric rise, Hrithik was already filming his next project, 'Fiza', which also released the same year. Actor Anup Soni, who was part of the supporting cast in 'Fiza', recently shared his memories of working with Hrithik before and after the release of 'Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai'.
Soni revealed that during the initial 'Fiza' shoot, he and Hrithik would sit on the car bonnet to get their makeup done in a bungalow in Seven Bungalows. However, once 'Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai' hit theaters and catapulted Hrithik to stardom, the production quality underwent a drastic transformation. Soni noted that Hrithik suddenly had his own personal makeup artist and a separate, luxurious vanity van on set, a far cry from their earlier makeshift arrangements.
This stark contrast highlights Hrithik's meteoric rise to become one of Bollywood's biggest stars over the past two decades. Today, he continues to be a leading figure in the industry, recently appearing in the action film 'WAR 2' alongside Jr NTR and Kiara Advani.
