In October 2000, Vidhu Vinod Chopra's Mission: Kashmir, starring Hrithik Roshan, was released alongside Aditya Chopra's Mohabbatein. Now, 25 years later, Hrithik has reflected on his performance in the film, admitting he wasn't completely satisfied with it.

Hrithik, who was just three films old at the time, had candidly confessed in an interview shortly before the film's release that he felt he hadn't gone beyond his previous film, Fiza, as an actor. "I think I could've done better in Mission: Kashmir. This was the first outside film (a non-home production) that I had shot for," he had said.

The actor attributed his busy schedule after the blockbuster success of his debut, Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, as one of the reasons he couldn't prepare as much for his role in Mission: Kashmir. "After Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, I got so busy that there was much less time to prepare for my role," he had explained.
