Howard Stern and his wife, Beth, are being sued by their former executive assistant, Leslie Kuhn, who claims they created a hostile work environment. Kuhn also alleges the couple presented her with a fraudulent non-disclosure agreement, which she claims was backdated and unenforceable.
Kuhn began working for Stern in September 2022 and became his executive assistant in January 2024. In May 2024, she relocated to work at the couple's $20 million "apocalypse bunker" in Southampton, New York. Her duties expanded to managing household staff, payroll, and the couple's extensive animal rescue operations.
Kuhn's employment was terminated in February 2026. She attributes this to a hostile work environment, immense pressure from on-site animal operations, and disorganized business practices. This occurred despite a December 2025 letter indicating a raise to $265,000 and an $80,000 bonus for 2026. She asserts the NDA she was presented with upon termination was manufactured and falsely presented as signed from the start of her employment.
She seeks to have the NDA declared unenforceable, allowing her to freely discuss her employment. Stern's representatives have not yet commented on the lawsuit. Stern recently signed a new three-year deal with SiriusXM, extending his contract through 2026.
