The third season premiere of "House of the Dragon" plunges into the ongoing civil war for Westeros, following the book "Fire & Blood." Dragonseeds Addam of Hull, Ulf the White, and Hugh Hammer are positioned near Harrenhal, awaiting Rhaenyra's command to ambush Aemond and his dragon, Vhagar.
Their encampment, however, is situated on the Isle of Faces, the ancestral home of the mysterious Green Men. While awaiting the enemy dragon, Ulf senses their isolation is not absolute.
Hugh and Addam witness a striking appearance: a large, upright, faun-like being with antlers and hooves. This encounter sets the stage for Addam's storyline, which will involve seeking out the cryptic Green Men, a lesser-known fantastical race in Westeros.
