Adding to these reports, Alex Fletcher, a fan favorite who has played Diane Hutchinson for 16 years since 2010, is also said to be leaving. Fletcher's decision, reportedly made late last year, has left show bosses 'gutted' as her character's long on-screen partnership with Nick Pickard's Tony Hutchinson comes to an end.
Furthermore, Chelsee Healey, who has been a part of the show as Goldie McQueen since 2016, is also reportedly stepping back permanently. Healey had previously taken temporary leave for maternity, but this departure is described as final.
