ITV Axes Holly's 'You Bet!' Reboot
6 Mar
Summary
- Holly Willoughby and Nicole Appleton seen lunching in London.
- Holly's new ITV show 'You Bet!' has been shelved.
- Her other shows 'Dancing On Ice' and 'Celebrity Bear Hunt' not renewed.

Holly Willoughby was recently seen enjoying a lunch outing with singer Nicole Appleton and other friends at the upscale 1 Hotel Mayfair in London. Willoughby, 45, appeared stylish in a navy trench coat and jeans, while Appleton, 51, opted for jeans with a black blazer. This social gathering occurred shortly after news broke that ITV has shelved the rebooted game show 'You Bet!', which Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern hosted for two specials in 2024. Initially, ITV rebooted the format of the 1990s series for two specials. However, the network has since decided against making it a permanent fixture in its programming schedule, though a future return has not been entirely ruled out. The shelving of 'You Bet!' is reportedly a disappointment for Willoughby, marking her first major new project with ITV since her departure from 'This Morning' in 2023, following a concerning incident. Fans may also note that Willoughby's other programs, 'Dancing On Ice' and 'Celebrity Bear Hunt', have not been renewed for subsequent seasons. An ITV spokesperson confirmed that while 'You Bet!' attracted a significant audience of 4.4 million viewers for its 2024 specials, there are currently no plans for a new series of 'You Bet! On Tour'. Both 'You Bet!' and 'You Bet! On Tour' remain available on ITVX.
