1 Nov
Summary
- Kotb and daughters dress up for Halloween each year
 - Family moved from NYC to Westchester in 2024 for more space and nature
 - Kotb opens up about being an older mom with wisdom to share

In the past year, Hoda Kotb and her two daughters, Haley and Hope, have continued their annual tradition of dressing up for Halloween. As of November 1st, 2025, the family's latest costumes have been revealed - Haley wore a Pittsburgh Steelers cheerleader outfit, while her younger sister appeared as a Buffalo Bills cheerleader.
This isn't the first time the Kotb clan has celebrated the spooky season in style. Last year, after the family moved from New York City to Westchester in 2024, Kotb wore a pumpkin orange jumpsuit while her daughters also donned cheerleader costumes. The move to the suburbs was a deliberate choice, as Kotb wanted her kids to "feel grass on their feet, and play in the yard, and ride bikes down the street."
Kotb, now 61 years old, has also opened up about the joys and challenges of being an older parent. "Sometimes when people would say, 'Oh, you're an older mom,' I kind of get an ouch, even though it's true," she shared. However, Kotb believes her life experience has given her more wisdom to impart on her young daughters as they grow.
Despite the move and Kotb's advancing age, the family's Halloween traditions have remained a cherished part of their lives. Whether in the city or the suburbs, the Kotb girls have delighted in dressing up each October, showcasing their creativity and family bond.
