Hoda Kotb & Ex Reunite for School Milestone

Hoda Kotb and her former fiancé, Joel Schiffman, recently came together at Kotb's Bronxville home to celebrate a significant family event: their daughters' first day of school. Haley, aged nine, and Hope, aged seven, embarked on fourth and second grade, respectively. Images shared documented the joyous occasion, including family portraits outside Kotb's suburban New York residence and a walk together.

This reunion underscores a continued commitment to co-parenting, as Kotb and Schiffman ended their engagement in 2022. Schiffman has previously visited Kotb's home for family celebrations, including Father's Day and other family outings. The move to Bronxville, a 30-minute drive from Manhattan, was a deliberate choice by Kotb to foster a more "normal" environment for her daughters.

Kotb's decision to relocate from New York City was also influenced by her younger daughter Hope's Type 1 diabetes diagnosis. This health concern prompted Kotb to prioritize being present for her children's daily needs, leading her to step away from her role on "Today." She aimed to create a "warm and cozy" sanctuary for her daughters in their new home.
