The original "Life's Punchline" centers on a comedy trio whose pursuit of fame dissolves by age 28, alongside a devoted diner worker and her sibling. The series explores themes of resilience and finding paths forward amidst life's challenges.
It aired in Japan in 2021, achieving close to 14 million Video On Demand views within its first 10 weeks. The production boasts a strong behind-the-scenes team, including executive producer Lorraine Ho and director Andy Lo.
