Hina Khan: Married during cancer battle, asked him to remarry

Hina Khan shared that during her stage 3 breast cancer diagnosis, she asked Rocky Jaiswal to find another partner.

The actress, who married Jaiswal in June, discussed this trying time on her podcast.

She explained that the relationship strain stemmed from real-life health crises, not compatibility issues. Khan expressed that Rocky's decision to remain by her side through the "very rough patch" was instrumental in her ability to cope. He made the difficult period appear manageable.

Addressing accusations that their wedding was a publicity stunt for the reality show "Pati, Patni, Aur Panga," Khan stated that their reality was what mattered. Jaiswal added that people's tendency to believe falsehoods led to such assumptions.

Khan clarified that their decision to marry, after 13-14 years together, was driven by the uncertainty of tomorrow, having planned the date well in advance under the Special Marriage Act.

The couple first met on the sets of "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" and dated for over 13 years before marrying last year.
