Himesh Reshammiya Melodies Acquires Music Rights of Anil Sharma's Next

Himesh Reshammiya Melodies has significantly expanded its music rights acquisitions by securing the soundtrack for Anil Sharma's upcoming film, Arjun Naga. This move comes shortly after the label acquired the music rights for Sooraj Barjatya's Yeh Prem Mol Liya, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari. The acquisition of Arjun Naga marks a notable step for Reshammiya's label, extending its reach beyond films under his own banner.

This latest acquisition represents the third collaboration between music composer Himesh Reshammiya and director Anil Sharma, known for Gadar: Ek Prem Katha and Gadar 2. Their previous partnerships include the 2007 film Apne and the 2018 film Genius. Arjun Naga stars Utkarsh Sharma, Anil Sharma's son, in the lead role, with Arjun Rampal playing the antagonist.

In addition to Arjun Naga, Himesh Reshammiya Melodies has also secured the music rights for Gunmaaster G9, which reunites Himesh with Emraan Hashmi and director Aditya Datt. The label's growing slate also includes Vikram Phadnis' Pal Bhar Ke Liye and two Marathi films, indicating a robust expansion in the music rights sector.
