Actor Himanshu N Awasthie credits his entire acting career to the profound inspiration he drew from the late Irrfan Khan. Initially a theatre enthusiast in his teenage years, Himanshu deeply admired Khan, aspiring to work with him. His theatre circuit connection led to a fateful audition.
This audition resulted in Himanshu being cast in 'Angrezi Medium,' starring Irrfan Khan himself, a moment he describes as overwhelming. He portrayed Ankit, the brother of Radhika Madan's character, marking his significant entry into the entertainment industry from his hometown of Jaipur.
Following this debut, Himanshu's career progressed steadily, balancing studies in Physics and Mathematics with acting roles. He has since gained recognition in web series and films, and is currently playing the lead role of Sameer in the television show 'Rimjhim - Choti Umar, Bada Safar', after relocating to Mumbai.
