Hillary Scott of Lady A has released her first solo-written song, titled "Mama's Lullaby," which was inspired by her experiences as a mother of four.

The melody for the lullaby first came to Scott while she was rocking her youngest daughter to sleep, an intimate and spiritual moment. Initially, she did not plan to release the song, but after sharing it with her husband and children, their encouragement prompted her to consider recording it.
