The colorful chaos of High on Life is returning with High on Life 2, set to launch on February 13, 2026. This sequel will be available on Xbox Series X/S and PC, and notably, will be included with Xbox Game Pass from its release day. While no PlayStation or Nintendo Switch 2 versions have been announced yet, past releases suggest a potential for multiplatform availability.
The narrative continues the journey of the unnamed bounty hunter, who has already achieved significant fame. However, their comfortable life is shattered when a mysterious figure from their past resurfaces, placing a bounty on the protagonist's own sister. This new antagonist is an "EVIL pharmaceutical conglomerate" with a sinister focus on monetizing human life, escalating the stakes considerably for our hero.
Squanch Games is enhancing the core fast-paced shooter gameplay with innovative features, prominently introducing a skateboard. Players will be able to "kickflip alien cops in the face and grind your way to freedom," promising a dynamic expansion of traversal and combat options. Series co-creator Justin Roiland is not expected to return, following his character Kenny's departure in a previous DLC.
