Hiba Nawab's Magical Return to TV

Hiba Nawab is making a highly anticipated return to television in a lead role, starring in a new family sitcom. This upcoming show is creatively inspired by the globally recognized classic, 'Bewitched'.

Nawab will portray Urvashi, a benevolent witch who chooses to forgo her magical existence for the sake of love. She promises her husband, Aarav Patel, a life as an ordinary human. However, Urvashi's attempts to navigate daily life frequently lead to comical predicaments, compelling her to resort to secret magic.

The series intricately weaves together humor, familial dynamics, and fantasy. Its comedic core lies in the juxtaposition of the Patel family's mundane reality with the unpredictable nature of magic. This light-hearted genre is relatively uncommon on Indian television.

This new project marks Nawab's comeback to a leading television role following her previous appearance in 'Jhanak'. The cast also features Rakhi Vijan and Adhik Mehta in significant roles. Previously, Nawab was in talks for a supernatural thriller which was later shelved.
