Hettie Jago, born June 16, 1989, is a distinguished antiques expert and auctioneer recognized for her role on the BBC's Antiques Road Trip. Her early life in Somerset was influenced by a family that fostered her appreciation for antiques, with her father collecting furniture and her mother's work as a florist. She attended St. Paul's Girls' School and later earned a History of Art degree from the University of Cambridge in 2011.
Jago began her professional career in 2020 at Arthur Johnson & Sons Auctioneers in Nottingham as a photographer and cataloguer. Within eight months, she advanced to auctioneer and jewellery valuer, specializing in mid-20th-century silver, gemstone jewellery, and antique furniture. Her television career launched in October 2023 with a celebrity special of Antiques Road Trip, alongside Dianne Buswell and Owain Wyn Evans.
Following her successful debut, Jago became a permanent fixture on the series in November 2023, competing to find treasures in Scotland. Away from the show, she operates Hettie Jago Jewellery, an online business offering curated vintage and modern silver pieces. She is reportedly married to Tom, a software developer, with whom she has two children and a cockapoo. They reside in London.
