Henry Winkler, celebrated for his role as Arthur "Fonzie" Fonzarelli, recently visited Milwaukee to see a statue dedicated to his iconic character. While deeply honored by the tribute, Winkler humorously noted a peculiar detail: the statue stands taller than he does.
The statue, unveiled in 2008 in the sitcom's setting of Milwaukee, was attended by Winkler and several Happy Days cast members. Winkler expressed his disbelief and gratitude for having a statue, especially one that is "cool" and "tall."
During a separate discussion, Winkler revealed a unique memento he kept from the Happy Days set. He took a piece of plywood from the entrance of Arnold's Drive-In, which he used to record significant show events and personal milestones during its 11-season run ending in 1984.
