Heather Locklear and Lorenzo Lamas are now publicly dating, revealing their romance began 40 years after their initial meeting. The couple shared that "the universe happened" to bring them back together, with Lamas attributing their reconnection to a promoter who booked them for the same event. This rekindled relationship reportedly sparked after they crossed paths again at the annual World's Largest Disco fundraiser in Buffalo, New York.

The World's Largest Disco, an event established in 1979, serves as a fundraiser supporting Camp Good Days and Special Times, an organization dedicated to children with cancer. Following their appearance at the fundraiser, Locklear and Lamas were reported to have spent New Year's Eve together in Las Vegas. Their romance was confirmed in April, and in May, Lamas' daughter publicly expressed affection for Locklear on social media.

This new chapter for Locklear, who was previously married to Richie Sambora and Tommy Lee, comes as Lamas is finalizing his sixth divorce. He married Kenna Nicole Scott in October 2023 and filed for divorce in July 2025. Recently, Lamas has pursued a default judgment in his divorce case, a step that brings him closer to being fully committed to his relationship with Locklear.
