Sasha, who was Ilya Rozanov's former lover and friend, was created specifically for the show and does not appear in the source novels. Connors believes Sasha's complex nature makes him an ideal catalyst for dramatic tension and conflict within the narrative.

The first season of 'Heated Rivalry,' which premiered in November 2025, catapulted its lead actors, Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams, to overnight fame. Connors acknowledged the immense pressure that comes with such rapid success, expressing empathy for his co-stars and hoping they are managing well with the increased scrutiny and lack of privacy.

Beyond his own potential return, Connors is excited about the future of the series, particularly the continued development of the love story between Ilya Rovanov and Shane Hollander.
