The physical release of the Heated Rivalry soundtrack, comprising CD and vinyl editions available since July 10, garnered 41,000 equivalent album units in its opening week. The vinyl versions were especially successful, selling 28,000 copies and marking the largest sales week for a soundtrack on vinyl in 2026. The soundtrack also topped the Vinyl Albums and Indie Store Album Sales charts.
Heated Rivalry, which premiered in late 2025, stars Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams as hockey rivals involved in a secret romance. The series, adapted from Rachel Reid's book series, concluded its six-episode first season in December 2025 and has since been renewed for a second season.
