Heated Rivalry Season 2 Adds Percy Jackson Star

Heated Rivalry season 2 has officially begun production, announcing Daniel Diemer and Shaheen Jafargholi as new cast additions. Diemer, who starred in Percy Jackson and the Olympians, will embody Ryan Price, a former defenseman and enforcer for the Toronto Guardians. Jafargholi is set to play Fabian Salah, Ryan's boyfriend and a prominent figure in Toronto's music scene.

These characters are central to Rachel Reid's 'Tough Guy' novel, which significantly influences the upcoming season. The series will also feature Emily Hampshire as Vanessa, a friend to Ryan and Fabian who manages a sex toy review blog.

Priyanka, winner of Canada's Drag Race, joins as Tarek, an assistant at an immigration services organization. Production commenced on August 17, with the new season slated for a spring 2027 release.

The season's narrative draws heavily from Reid's book series, focusing on the evolving relationships and secret dynamics of its characters. This season is expected to delve deeper into the characters' personal journeys and the complexities of their romantic entanglements.
