Heated Rivalry: Creator's Book Reveals Show Secrets

A new book by Heated Rivalry creator Jacob Tierney offers fans an in-depth look at the popular HBO Max series. Titled 'I'll Believe in Anything,' the 368-page publication from Little, Brown and Company dives behind the scenes, detailing aspects such as casting, costume design, and the notable "thoughtful sex choreography." It also elaborates on Tierney's creative decisions in adapting Rachel Reid's book series.

The book has already garnered significant attention, topping Amazon's charts for top TV books six months before its October 13 release date. This success highlights the strong fanbase, known as 'Loons.'

Heated Rivalry itself has received critical acclaim, earning 18 nominations at the Canadian Screen Awards, a Peabody Award nomination, and a GLAAD Award win. Creator Jacob Tierney recently teased that the upcoming second season will shift to "much more serious territory" and is anticipated to premiere in 2027.
