HBO Max is set to release five new Asian original series and films this summer, with premieres scheduled between late July and late August. These titles originate from Taiwan, the Philippines, and Indonesia, enriching the streaming platform's international content.
Taiwan will contribute two HBO Originals. "Fired Up!", a 12-episode coming-of-age drama inspired by "Itaewon Class," premieres on July 31. "The Producer," focusing on an aspiring music producer, is slated for an August 28 launch.
The Philippines offers "Call My Manager," an HBO Original adaptation of the French series "Call My Agent," premiering August 13. Additionally, "Come Dine With Me: Celebrity Philippines," a local version of the popular British format, debuts on July 23.
Concluding the slate, the Indonesian feature film "The Invisible Guest" will be available starting August 7. This new content will be accessible in selected APAC markets, including Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
